THEME: ‘Leveraging SDG #8 to Achieve Youth Engagement for Global Action: How is African Youth Faring?”

The United Nations (UN) in 1999 designated August 12 as the International Youth Day (IYD) for the purpose of promoting better awareness of the World Programme of Action for Youth. This year, the IYD focuses on “Youths Engagement for Global Actions. In line with our mission of developing innovative solutions for youth employment challenge in Africa, we join the rest of the world to promote awareness on African youths’ engagement for global actions.
